Cave and Karst Studies

Our mission is to provide solutions to water resource issues through

research, consultation, and education.

CHL was established in 1979 as part of the Center for Cave and Karst Studies

at Western Kentucky University.  Over the past 45 years we have become a leader in basic and applied research that aims to better understand landscape/atmosphere/water/human interactions in the United States and abroad.
